How do you sell a hotel in Italy without exposing the business to the market?

You sell off-market: no public listing and no name attached. The property is presented only to selected counterparties, with its general features and the asking price. Name, address, floor plans and financial indicators stay covered until a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed, and the documentation then opens in stages. Confidentiality holds until the deed: if the sale covers the hotel business as a going concern, the deed received or authenticated by a notary is filed with the Companies Register within thirty days (Civil Code art. 2556). Trevi Elite applies this approach to its hotel sale mandates. Our hotel acquisition guide describes the staged process from the buyer’s side.
