They are two separate consortia: buyers become members and pay an annual contribution for roads, lighting and green areas. There is no single amount: the contribution depends on the size and characteristics of the property. AXA is a mandatory road consortium, created by Rome’s council in 1966, which spreads the cost by lot area, built volume, road frontage and number of units. The Casal Palocco consortium began on the developer’s initiative, and its statute obliges every owner to join. Before an offer, a Trevi Elite advisor checks the actual amount for you with the relevant consortium. The rules of both consortia are in our guide to AXA and Casal Palocco.
