According to a survey conducted by EasyJet, Rome is the best city in Europe to spend your 2022/23 winter holidays.
Rome has been ranked #1 as the best European destination for the 2022 end of year holiday season.

According to the Mirror, “When most people think of Rome, the first images that come to mind are the Colosseum and the Roman Forum in the high Italian summer”. But this city remains as magical in the winter as it is in the late summer evenings.
Full of illuminations, there are lots of art performances, concerts and religious ceremonies. Also, don’t forget to visit a traditional Christmas market in Piazza Navona.
More than half of the survey respondents said that their holiday priorities were:
- tasting the typical local dishes
- visiting at least one Christmas market
